Job Purpose:
Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with international companies to represent their products, services, or brands in the local market. This role aligns with the company’s strategic objectives, generating business opportunities that add value to the organization. The position is responsible for managing the Procurement Network, both nationally and internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
Identification of International Representations:
Research and analyze international markets to identify potential companies or brands for representation in Chile and Peru.
Evaluate business opportunities based on market trends and industry needs.
Negotiation and Agreement Management:
Negotiate representation terms and conditions with national and international partners.
Manage commercial representation contracts, ensuring compliance with established agreements.
National and International Relations:
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with representatives, distributors, and international partners.
Oversee agreements with local suppliers.
Internal Coordination:
Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure the proper implementation and promotion of represented products and services.
Ensure that represented products or services meet local standards and regulations.
Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze the performance of international representations and present periodic reports to management.
Monitor the market penetration and behavior of representations managed by Vertycal with various manufacturers.
Keep updated price lists for all represented brands.
Develop new representation agreements with companies of interest to Vertycal.
Track sales performance for each represented brand.
Negotiate pricing agreements for different representations.
Be available for any additional tasks requested by management.
Arrange continuous training from the brands represented.
Job Requirements (Competencies):
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in international trade, business development, or representation management.
Desired Knowledge:
International trade and import/export regulations.
Negotiation and drafting of international contracts.
Market analysis tools and relationship management.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented mindset and strategic thinking.
Languages:
Advanced English (mandatory).
Additional languages are a plus.
Success Indicators:
Number of international representations managed and formalized.
Growth in market share for represented products.
Level of satisfaction among international partners.
Profitability of acquired international representations.
