Financial Controller - Bilingual

We are Esimtel, a company with 30 years of market presence and a team of over 250 employees and we are hiring a Financial Controller for one of our clients. The Financial Controller will be responsible for supervising the accounting operation, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and managing the monthly closing process. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to financial standards (IFRS and U.S. GAAP), and effective coordination with the CFO and other stakeholders.

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (Invoicing Required)
Location: Hybrid Schedule: 3 days per week at the office and 2 days home office, 6-7 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the monthly closing process.
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS (and U.S. GAAP, if applicable).
• Perform reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with the CFO to optimize financial processes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or controller role.
• Strong familiarity with IFRS and U.S. GAAP.
• Proven experience in monthly closings, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in international financial operations and reporting.

Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with the CFO and team.
